1. Application for membership to the Wings Miniature Aircraft Society, Inc. requires submission of annual dues for the January to December calendar year to the Treasurer or appointed contact with concurrent proof of financial responsibility (i.e. Academy of Model Aeronautics
2. There are no partial-year memberships. New memberships purchased after October 1 will cost the full annual amount and cover membership for the remainder of the current year, plus the following year. However, a current AMA membership for both years is required.
3. Club members may hold AMA membership under the Park Pilot Program provided they limit all flying activities to the definitions, requirements and limitations provided for the program by the AMA. All participating under the AMA Park Pilot Program are eligible to vote in Wings Miniature Aircraft Society business, attend all club functions, and participate in all non-competitive AMA sanctioned events per Park Pilot Program rules.
4. Changes in dues recommended to the membership must pass by simple majority of members present at any monthly meeting.
5. [SUSPENDED] New members will also submit an “airfield support” fee. This one-time “airfield support” fee will be contingent upon the member's continual renewal of membership to Wings Miniature Aircraft Society, Inc. Absence from club membership for at least one annual dues period requires the member to re-submit the “field support” fee.
6. Memberships to Wings Miniature Aircraft Society, Inc. types:
ADULT MEMBERSHIP, for those 19 or over as of July 1 for the membership year.
YOUTH MEMBERSHIP, for those members who live at an address other than a full Adult Member and who are under 19 years of age as of July 1 for the membership year.
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP, for those family members living at the same household with one Adult membership. (numbers of individuals unlimited)
